RESIN JEWELLERY CARE

As we all want your bespoke resin jewellery to last, we would recommend careful use of the product.

Items should be kept away from chemicals including perfumes, cleaning products, soaps, moisturisers, and antibacterial hand sanitisers etc.

Chemicals can react with epoxy and cause it to become scaly, yellow, cloudy, chip or break away from the bezel (missing stones).

Items should also be removed when washing hands, bathing, showering, swimming, or washing up, as resin is water resistant, not waterproof and soap/body wash/washing up liquid etc can contain chemicals.

Do not store or leave your jewellery in direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause discolouration. Smoking can also cause the same effects.

Although resin is very resilient, try to avoid bumping and scratching your jewellery as this will make the setting look ‘scuffed’ or damage the setting.

Avoid wearing on susceptible daily activities such as sleeping or exercising.

If you need to clean the resin or give it a polish, a damp microfibre cloth can be used to clean the setting without damaging it.

Please follow all care instructions carefully. If the jewellery arrives damaged, then please advise this within 24 hours of receipt and we will be happy to resolve any issues by repair or replacement.

If you happen to damage your jewellery, we are not obliged to offer a replacement or repair, so please make sure that you follow all care instructions carefully. We will however help where possible. Minor damage, scratches and missing crystals can usually be repaired however some damage is irreversible.

We offer a 3 month warranty on all jewellery, if care instructions are not followed, warranty will become void.

FELT KEEPSAKES

‘Mini Me’ Models & Keyrings

As we all want your bespoke felt keepsake to last, we would recommend careful use of the product.

Felt is a tough yet delicate fabric and the surface can rub up into ‘piles’.  Should this happen, you can carefully trim the loose felt with a pair of scissors, just skimming the top off.

Felt is porous and therefore will absorb body oils with heavy handling. Make sure your hands are clean before handling, hand sanitiser, moisturisers etc can mark the material.

Felt should NOT be washed as it can shrink and colours can run. If you need to ‘clean’ the felt, you can carefully sponge it in a ‘dabbing motion’ but do NOT use any detergents on the fabric.

The ribbon on the  keyrings are stitched with three rows of stitching to ensure they are as durable as possible but like any material it can ‘split’ with heavy handling.

Please pick the items up by the body rather than by more ‘delicate parts’ such as the mane, tails or eyes. We use the highest quality materials possible but like anything handmade, it should be handled with care.

Therefore we suggest both ‘Mini Me’ models and keyrings should NOT be used as toys and used rather as a keepsake/ornament if you want them to last indefinitely.

BRAIDED HORSE HAIR JEWELLERY

As we all want your bespoke braided horse hair jewellery to last, we would recommend careful use of the product.

Horsehair is very strong and durable but can snag or break, just like our own hair.

To prevent hairs getting caught or snagged on other items, we would suggest that they are not worn with other jewellery/watches on the same hand, arm etc.

If a hair does become loose you can pull it taught and cut it off carefully.

Items should be kept away from chemicals including perfumes, cleaning products, soaps, moisturisers and antibacterial hand sanitisers etc.

Chemicals can cause damage to both the hair and glue setting.

Items should also be removed when bathing, showering, swimming or washing up.

If you need to clean the braided hair, it can be washed gently with a mild shampoo (such as baby shampoo), Do not immerse in hot water as his can cause the glue setting in the cap ends or jewellery bridges to melt.

Avoid other sources of heat such as radiators and hairdryers, leave to dry naturally.

Silver fittings can be polished with a silver cloth available from most jewellers or online.

We will help where possible however some damage is irreversible.

We offer a 3 month warranty on all jewellery, if the care instructions are not followed, warranty will be void.

ADJUSTABLE RING CARE

As we all want your bespoke jewellery to last, we would recommend careful use of the product.

We recommend that you fit your adjustable ring to your finger once only

If the ring is reshaped and resized multiple times, this can weaken the structure of the silver band, making it susceptible to breaking / cracking or cause the band to bend out of shape.

We will help where possible however some damage is irreversible.

We offer a 3-month warranty on all jewellery however If a silver band on an adjustable ring breaks and it can be seen to have been bent out of shape or care instructions have not been followed, then the warranty will be void.
